Central Trains
Central Trains was one of the first operators to order Turbostars from Adtranz, and later Bombardier. They have one of the largest fleets, because they operate the three Spot-Hire units from Porterbrook Leasing, and also they acquired the Midland Mainline units when MML replaced them in 2004, with Class 222 Meridians.
Not including the MML or Porterbrook units, CT have 76 Adtranz vehicles, in 23 2-car sets, and 10 3-car sets, and a further 8 Bombardier units have been made up into 2 3-car and 1 2-car sets.
Due to the above facts, there are a lot of Livery Variations, and also, the House Colours originally had the company's phone number on the side, rather than the web address.
