Talyllyn Railway
The Talyllyn railway is a 2ft 3in narrow guage railway situated just north of Aberdyfi in a town called Tywyn! They have 6 steam locos and 4 diesel locos. They have 23 carriages and brake vans and a variety of wagons, in running and condition and in the narrow guage museum at one of the stations. They run a number of volunteer groups for people of any age, but mainly children who aren't 14 and can't therefore train as a guard, driver or fireman. See their stall at the Stafford rail show on the first weekend in February!
