Talyllyn Loco No. 4 (Edward Thomas)

Edward Thomas is a 16' 8'' loco that was built at Kerr Stuart and Co. in 1921 for use on the nearby Corris railway. It was bought by the talyllyn in 1951 and was named after the former manager. After repairs at Hunslet Engine Co. it entered service in 1952. In the Thomas the Tank Engine books set at the railway it's name is Peter Sam.
